Here at Every Sign we are dedicated to creating and promoting accessible New Zealand Sign Language classes and Deaf awareness for everyone in Invercargill and Southland in New Zealand. These classes are ether in person and online. My mission is to create accessible education for every age. while fostering a safe environment for all.

I believe and understand the unique challenges Deaf people face every day and firmly believe that though classes Every Sign provide has and will united our little Southland to be more inclusive. At Every Sign we believe that education is the key to where both communities Deaf and Hearing people can fully participate, connect in our community together.

Jaime Randhawa

Jaime is a qualified New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) and holds BA of NZSL and Deaf Studies and certificate from Victoria University. Jaime is first foremost an educator and love s to teach the community of Invercargill, Southland. Jaime is passionate about Human rights for Deaf and Disabled communities She is proud to be part of a growing movement making NZSL accessible, inclusive, and relevant for people of all ages and backgrounds. Jaime enjoys in her free time Reading, spending time with family and friends.

Services

Every Sign is for Everyone. We offer a wide range of NZSL classes including adult community classes, children’s classes, family classes, online learning, and professional workshops. We also do special requests to teach Babies or those with special needs/ disablities Please check and Every Sign’s Facebook page or contact us directly for upcoming classes and infomation.

Adult Community Classes

$120 pp (8-week course, 1–2 hours). Evening classes in small or large groups following Teach Sign units. Learn NZSL alongside Deaf culture, history, and values.

One-on-One Tutorials

$140 (8 classes, 1 hour each). Ideal for students wanting extra support and confidence building. Slower-paced sessions available online or in person.

Online NZSL Classes

$100 pp (8 weeks, 1 hour). Group classes via Zoom with the same content as adult community classes. Perfect for learners living far away.

Professional Workshops

$99–$120 pp (4–5 hours or full weekend). Learn about Deaf culture, history, Deaf ways, and how to better support family, colleagues, and the Deaf community.

Family Classes

$278 (two children + one adult, 8 classes, 45 mins). Tailored sessions based on family needs and children’s interests.

Children’s NZSL Classes

$89 per child (ages 5–18, 45 mins–1 hour). Fun, accessible learning designed around children’s interests. Older students (14+) can follow Teach Sign content.

Learning NZSL helped me feel more confident communicating and understanding Deaf culture. The learning space felt respectful and supportive.

Community NZSL Class

My child really enjoys NZSL classes. The lessons are fun and based on their interests. We practise signing together at home now.

Children’s NZSL Class

The workshop helped our team understand Deaf culture and how to be more Deaf-friendly in the workplace.
